The Opel Sintra is a van which can fit up to seven people and is one that was introduced t the mainstream public in the year 1996 with production coming to an end by 2000. This model is available with a five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission and is related to the Chevrolet Venture, the Pontiac Trans Sport and the Pontiac Montana. The Opel Sintra has a U-body platform and comes available with the following petrol engines: 2.2 litre 16 valve and the 3.0 litre V6 24 Vale. It is also available with the 2.2 litre DTI diesel engine. The production of this model started in the United States and the car was imported to Europe in the late 90’s. This van became very popular in Germany and that is why you can find lots of used vans on sale in this country. They look as if they were new and their price in Germany is the lowest in and around Europe. Used vans are very popular among big families and used vans like the Opel Sintra are very suitable for such buyers. In countries such as Poland etc, used Opel Sintra vans cannot be found in the marketplace, which can be attributed to the vans’ cost.
